Mobile Profiles
Use mobile profiles to manage settings for mobile devices (photo, GPS, and syncing).
Users must have a profile to use the Irth mobile app. To link users to profiles, see Link User Profiles, below.
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( ) > Administration > General > Mobile Profiles
- On the Mobile Profile Overview page, click Add Profile.
- On the Modify Mobile Profile page, fill in the fields. See Edit Profile, step 3, below
- On the Mobile Profile Overview page, in the Mobile Profiles section, in the Name column, click the mobile profile
- On the Mobile Profile Detail page, click Modify Profile

On the Modify Mobile Profile page, fill in the fields:
Section Description Mobile Profile Information Name The name of the mobile profile Photo Settings Photo Selection Take a photo: Use your device's camera to take a photo
Select from gallery: Choose photo from your device
Prompt user: Asks if user wants to use camera or gallery
Picture Quality Numbers below indicate resolution or size in pixels:

Full (Original resolution): Whatever the size of the original photo is

Large (1080 x 1920)

Medium (900 x 1600)
-
Small (720 x 1280)
GPS Settings GPS Location Updates As Needed: Location updates as required by system and user actions
Continuously: The system continuously updates GPS information
Custom: Type the interval between location updates in seconds
Items to Sync In addition to items assigned to the user, also sync: Items assigned to users that report to the user: Items assigned to the user and items assigned to all users that report to the user.
- Users that have other users reporting to them are supervisors/managers
- To see the users reporting to a supervisor, search for the supervisor on Workload Summary > Search (In the search results look for the supervisor icon ( ))
- To assign a user to supervisor, see Users > Supervisor
Items created today by the user: Items created by the user over the last 24 hours

- Click Add/Save. Result: If adding a profile for the first time, the profile appears. The Set as Default option also appears on the Mobile Profile Detail page in the left column. See Set as Default Profile
Users must have a profile to use the Irth mobile app.
Use this feature to link users to a single mobile profile (if you add a user to a profile, they are removed from any profile they had previously been linked to).
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( ) > Administration > General > Mobile Profiles
- On the Mobile Profile Overview page, click Link User Profiles

On the Link User Profiles page, choose the profile and add users:
- In the Profile to add to dropdown, click the profile to add users to
- In the Users section, use the search box or the pagination links (bottom right) to find users
- Click Add to Profile
You can set any profile to be the default profile.
The default profile is the recommended way to allow the most users access to the app with the least amount of effort. See Recommended Profiles Example, below.
If you add a user to a profile, they are removed from any profile they had previously been linked to.
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( ) > Administration > General > Mobile Profiles
- On the Mobile Profile Overview page, in the Mobile Profiles section, in the Name column, click the mobile profile
- On the Mobile Profile Detail page, in the left column, click Set as Default Profile
- On the Default Mobile Profile page, confirm that the profile will be set as the default profile. Click Save. Result: The Mobile Profile Detail page appears with the Mobile Profile Information section now saying the profile is the default profile (Company Default field now says "Yes")
Recommended Profiles Example
This is a common set of profiles used to allow three sets of users to access the system by using profiles tailored to their needs:
Profile | Description |
Advanced User | More or more powerful settings than those of the default profile |
Default | The most widely-used, basic settings. For some companies, a default profile may be all the only profile needed |
Minimum | Fewer or less powerful settings than those of the default profile |
