Facility Types

Use facility types if your company has different types of facilities (ex. gas, electric, and water) and either:

  1. A single registration code represents multiple types of facilities and you need to record a separate response for each type of facility
  2. You need to limit the responses to tickets based on the facility type

In both cases, facility types allow a ticket from the One Call Center to be split into multiple copies, so each copy can be worked individually.

The facility type option must be enabled to be used. See Options > Facility Types.

When using facility types and doing positive response to the excavator, all copies of the ticket must be responded to before a positive response will be sent. To enable this restriction, see Option to Send Only Positive Response to Excavator when Ticket is Closed .
