Transmissions

Transmissions are items that are being delivered out of UtiliSphere. These items can be tickets, positive responses, or web traffic to outside sources.

When an item is going to be sent out, it is placed into the transmission queue. The queue handles prioritizing the outbound communications by using the ticket type and time placed into the queue.

Each transmission item has a history to indicate the ticket delivered or why it failed to deliver. If the transmission fails, it is placed into the transmission history for the company it belongs to.

The Transmissions menu contains links to two sub-menu options: Transmission Queue and Transmission History. These options are related to the communications generated by UtiliSphere that have either been queued to send, or have already been sent. To view transmissions in either state, simply select the corresponding option.
